Most agencies sell you a team. I’m the team.

Every premium agency you’ve worked with has an org chart between you and the work. A creative director who shows up to the kickoff. A producer who runs the day-to-day. An account lead who emails you status updates. Layers of people, all profitable.

This photo was taken at a business event in Saskatoon. Kevin O’Leary and I had a brief conversation about what AI is doing to the marketing industry. His take was the same as mine: the agencies that adapt fast will own the next decade. The ones that don’t will be commoditized out of existence.

ATTRACT was built around that bet. AI-native since 2020. Senior creative since 2006. One operator who shows up directly for every client.

THE JOURNEY

20 years. Three platform shifts. Still building.

The short version of how I got here.

  1. 2006

    Started in marketing fresh out of a Commerce degree. The web was still figuring itself out. I started learning faster than most.

  2. 2008

    Founded STEALTH. Solo at first. Then a team. Then offices. Then a real business with real revenue and real clients.

  3. 2013

    Picked up Cherry Insurance as a client. Ran campaigns and built the brand. In 2019, launched the Cutest Pet Contest. Seven years later, it pulls 500,000 visits every July, in a city of 300,000.

  4. 2018

    Ranked #1 for “New York Web Design” on Google. One of the most competitive search terms on the internet. Held it long enough to matter. Sold STEALTH that same year.

  5. 2020

    Relaunched as ATTRACT. Built it AI-native from day one, while most of the industry was still asking what GPT was.

  6. 2026

    20 years in. Working with the best clients of my career, on the best work of my career, with tools that didn’t exist five years ago.

THE STRUCTURE

Why I went back to solo.

When I sold STEALTH, I had a choice. Start another agency. Take a corporate role. Or build something new.

I went solo because the math finally worked.

In 2006, you needed a team of twenty-five to ship the kind of work I wanted to make. Designers, copywriters, video editors, developers, SEO specialists, project managers. The overhead was the price of admission.

By 2020, AI changed the math. A senior operator with the right tools could produce work that used to require an agency. Not similar work. Better work. Faster.

So I built ATTRACT around that math. No account managers. No junior team. No layers. Just 20 years of taste and judgment, operating AI tools the way a master craftsman operates a workshop.

Outside the work: two boys, a decade-long partner, and a Pomeranian named Gertrude who has strong opinions about everything.
