WHAT IT CHECKS

What the AI Website Analyzer checks.

  • Structure and machine readability

Whether headings, service descriptions, location signals and structured data describe the business in a way software can parse without guessing.

  • Search and AI clarity

Whether the pages answer the questions a buyer actually asks, in language that both search engines and AI assistants can quote directly.

  • Performance and mobile experience

How quickly the page becomes useful on a phone, and whether layout, tap targets and images hold up on small screens.

  • Conversion clarity

Whether the primary action is obvious, repeated and easy to complete, and whether forms ask for the right amount of information.

  • Content and trust signals

Whether proof, credentials, reviews and real specifics are present and placed where a hesitant buyer will actually see them.

HOW IT WORKS

How Google and AI systems understand a business.

Search engines and AI assistants both start from the same problem: they need to turn a website into a short, confident description of what a business does, who it serves and where it operates. They do that by reading the visible text, the heading structure, the structured data in the page source and the way the site links its own pages together.

Google adds signals from outside the website, including your Business Profile, reviews and mentions on other sites. AI assistants lean heavily on text that can be quoted directly, which is why answer-first paragraphs and plainly written service and location statements matter more than clever headlines.

When those signals agree with each other, a business is easy to summarise and easy to recommend. When they conflict, or when the important facts only exist inside images, sliders or vague marketing language, the system has to guess, and guessing usually favours a competitor whose site is clearer.

WHY OLDER SITES STRUGGLE

Why older websites often fall behind.

An older website is not automatically a bad website, and the platform it runs on is rarely the deciding factor. What usually causes trouble is accumulated drift: plugins added over years, images uploaded at full camera resolution, page builders stacking markup, service pages written for a version of the business that no longer exists.

At the same time, expectations moved. Mobile became the majority of traffic, Core Web Vitals became a measurable standard, structured data became the common language for describing a business, and AI assistants began summarising websites instead of simply linking to them.

A site built before those shifts can still perform well once it is cleaned up. The point of the analyzer is to show which of those gaps are actually costing you enquiries, so the fixes are ordered by impact rather than by age.

READING YOUR SCORE

What an AI readiness score actually means.

The score out of 100 is a diagnostic, not a prediction. It combines four weighted areas: Search and AI Clarity out of 30, Conversion Readiness out of 25, Performance and Mobile out of 25, and Content and Trust out of 20.

A score in the eighties usually means the site is structurally sound and the remaining work is refinement. The sixties and seventies typically indicate a capable site with a few specific obstacles, most often speed on mobile or unclear service and location language. Below fifty, the website is generally working against the business rather than for it.

No score guarantees a ranking position, and no tool can confirm what an AI assistant will say about you on a given day. What a higher score does reliably indicate is fewer avoidable reasons for a search engine, an AI assistant or a buyer to pass you over.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Is the AI Website Analyzer free?
Yes. Entering your website address and viewing your readiness score costs nothing and there is no obligation to work with ATTRACT Media afterwards.
Does the analyzer change anything on my website?
No. Submitting a URL is a read-only request. Nothing is installed, edited, published or removed on your site, and no login access is required.
Can this tell me whether ChatGPT recommends my business?
No, and any tool claiming to do that is overstating what is measurable. AI assistants do not publish their sources or selection logic. What we can assess is whether your site clearly states the information those systems rely on when summarising a business.
Will a better score guarantee higher rankings?
No. Rankings depend on competition, authority, market and factors no single tool controls. A stronger score means your website is removing avoidable obstacles, which is the part you can actually influence.
Does the platform my site is built on matter?
Less than most people assume. WordPress, Webflow, Shopify and custom builds can all perform well or poorly. What matters is how the specific site is built, maintained and structured, not the logo on the platform.
What happens after I request my full report?
