Cherry Insurance is an independent brokerage in Saskatoon. In 2019, ATTRACT built the Cutest Pet Contest — an annual July campaign where the community submits pet photos and votes for winners. The concept came from a strategic insight: insurance is a low-interest category, but pets are not. Pair the community enthusiasm of a pet contest with the brand of an insurance brokerage and you create a reason for the community to show up that has nothing to do with insurance rates.
Seven years later the contest pulls 500,000 website visits in a single month. Aviva Canada has cited Cherry Insurance as their industry example of excellent marketing. The relationship has run continuously since 2013.
